Leave the south of Gran Canaria by minivan for a seven-hour route through Fataga, Tejeda, Artenara and other mountain villages. You’ll stop for viewpoints, cave homes and a plant-infusion tasting, with a one-hour lunch break at Fontanales. The group is capped at eight; guides on this route have included Jan, Kevin, Uwe, Ana and Charlie.

“Picked up by Jan who was a friendly and very knowledgeable guide and driver. He made us feel welcome along questions about where we were from and engaged in pleasant conversation on the way to collect other guests. Jan gave us continuous commentary along the route all day and told us interesting facts about the history of the island, his knowledge of the agriculture was very impressive and we learnt lots about the trees and plants that grow in gran Canaria. Several stops for photos of spectacular views and shops for snacks and gifts. Overall a very enjoyable day.”
