Look through large windows at shipwrecks, fish and an artificial reef, while a nine-language audio guide explains what you’re seeing. Screens show the submarine’s movements as it submerges and returns to the surface.

“submarine tour was an amazing experience. The audio guide was excellent and really immersive. We felt like little kids the whole time. The water wasn’t very clear due to recent rain, but we still thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We also purchased two printed photos for only €5, which was a lovely souvenir. Highly recommended!”

Guided tour of the Banana World - Inside the restored house from 1804

Guided tour of the Banana World

2.Guided tour of the Banana World

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 3,431 reviews · 50 minutes to 1 hour (approx.) · from $18Top rated

At Banana World in Arucas, a guide leads you through a working banana farm and a restored 1804 Canarian house, explaining how the fruit is grown. The 50-minute to one-hour visit ends with samples of banana wines, jams, and other island-made products. Tours are offered in English, with guides including Dani, Fatima, Maria, and Ion.

“I enjoyed the banana tour! It was short and sweet. I learned a lot about bananas that I never knew. The guide was great and really knowledgeable. I loved all the different samplings of jams, bananas, and the banana drinks. My only complaint would be that it mentioned meeting at a meeting point. I was there 20 minutes early and no one was there. I ended up walking down to the entrance area instead and almost missed my tour. So go right to the entrance area and do not wait at the meeting point they provide.”
